I shouldn't say nothing's new. It snowed this morning. Quite a bit to be exact. They've been telling us for the past two weeks that we are going to get snow but so far it hasn't materialized. Each morning when I wake up, I look out to see if I have to do any shoveling before I have my coffee. So this morning it was out to shovel first thing. But it stopped mid morning and then it was just a bit of fine tuning in the afternoon. I'm not sure how strict they are about having the sidewalks in front of your house shoveled but I'm not taking any chances. Besides it gets me outside for a bit of exercise and some much enjoyed fresh air.
Other than that breaking news, there's really nothing else to talk about. We are still in lockdown so no where to go anyway. With these new variants of the disease around, staying home seems like a great idea.
I'm working on a scrapbook for James, to document his armed forces career thus far. I've set up all my scrapbooking stuff on the dining table downstairs so I have lots of room to work. I've also set up my stereo down there as well so I just crank up the tunes and I'm a happy camper. Unfortunately I'm still waiting for some pictures that I ordered to be processed online. (Just part of being locked down) so I'm at a bit of a standstill, But once they do arrive, I'll be ready. I have the first page done, but that's it so far.
He's gone back to Borden so I've asked him to send me some photos of his day to day life up there, that I can use. As I told him, in 20 years he'll be glad that he did.
And that's it for now. Stay safe out there!
